ok ,so this is my story , this jw girl came on vacation in my country as a friend of my girl-cousin who is not a jw but were classmates at uni .
my cousin introduced her to me but she didnt tell me that she was a jw from the very first moment we flirt each other.we went on beach ,on bars ,cafes etc and she acted so wordly ,in fact i thought she could be a good one night stand with her behaviour .never saw anything weird about her that could lead me to question something, with the peak in the club where we danced together while hugging very passionatly .
i tried to kiss her that night but she kept her distance , i didnt notice any bad on that.anyway, next day we flirt again at the the beach and at night too .
Sorry to say you were her romspringa. IT seam that a lot of jdub youth are doing this more and more flirting with the world in hopes of a convert. Then just runnig away when the gilt gets to be to much and their is no hope of conversion. Sorry dude run or convert those are your only options and converting is no fun.

for those of you who used to be jws, or who are active, if the society was in charge of the earth, how many people do you think you would have seen stoned during your lifetimes?
i realize some elders can be zealous about their work, but if they'd actually had administrative authority to have kh members stoned to death, how many elders did you know who would have been zealous enough to really order them?.
did you know any elders who would have ordered stonings, even if the condemned people had been willing to repent?.
Just a side note. The Jesus let the first one without sin cast the first stone is not part of the NWT. So stonings can be ok in the new system when some one sins.

my mother-in-law has a strange obsession with calendars, and orders the society's calendar each year.
this year's calendar is especially weird.
it features images depicting future events - in particular, the society's vision of the new world order.. i've taken the opportunity to scan some of the images for you all to check out.. please note - there are captions for each of the images, but i don't have the english language version of the calendar so i'd rather just quote the scripture used so as not to reveal which country i'm in.. .

while reading the thread about the jw elder clearing his conscience, i had the thought.... .
while taking everyone's experiences in the jw org at face value, we all certainly had different influences present around us concerning education.. .
it is clear to me that within the jw org, there is a spectrum running from hard-liners to very liberal, in this particular matter.
Back in 2005 (or maybe 04 - I'm not sure), a boy in our congregation graduated high school at the top of his class. He wanted to go to college, and his parents (both were dubs) fully supported that decision. The parents got so much grief from the elders (and probably the CO) that they haven't attended meetings since then - not even the Memorial. The young man did go to college, got an engineering degree, and now has a very good job.
1. my husband's time is finite, it's wasted on spouses arguing over money, sex or family mattters with stupid home visits.. .
i hate people's constant open hand for money, it's the weak individuals asking others to pull their weight.
my family worked extra hours instead of begging the strong members for district assembly money, cat food for seven cats or tiny little rag-a-muffins weiner dogs.. .
That's ok Connie shun away I'm doing the same to Brother elder beat my child and Brother elder don't feed your kids before meatings so they wont throw up.
